Free Health Checkup Camp in Rajpura: Extending Healthcare Support to the Community

JP Sewa Trust, in collaboration with Helping Hand Foundation, organised a Free Health Checkup Camp at Gymnasium Hall, Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura, Punjab, on 13 March 2024. The initiative focused on extending healthcare support to the community and encouraging people to take timely steps towards their health and well-being.

The camp was organised from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm, providing community members with an opportunity to access free healthcare services and medical consultations. The initiative was centred around the belief that timely healthcare and medical guidance can play an important role in helping individuals stay informed about their health.

Participants at the camp could avail themselves of several free healthcare services. These included free consultations, free BP (blood pressure) checks, and free sugar tests. The initiative also offered free surgery for the needy, extending the scope of support beyond basic health checkups and consultations.

The camp brought together medical professionals from different areas of healthcare. Dr. Ravi Garg, Brain & Spine Specialist, was part of the initiative, providing expertise related to brain and spine health. Dr. Kulwinder Singh Shah, Joint Replacement & Trauma Surgeon, also participated, bringing his expertise in orthopaedic care. Dr. J.P. Kaur, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, represented the area of women’s healthcare.

The participation of doctors from these different specialties provided the community with an opportunity to seek medical consultation and guidance across a range of healthcare needs. By bringing specialised medical expertise to a community-focused health camp, the initiative aimed to make healthcare support more accessible.

For JP Sewa Trust, initiatives such as this health camp reflect its commitment to supporting community well-being. Working together with Helping Hand Foundation, the Trust contributed to an initiative designed to provide free healthcare services and encourage people to pay greater attention to their health.

The availability of free consultations and basic health checks also highlighted the importance of health awareness and timely attention. Blood pressure and blood sugar checks can help individuals become more aware of important aspects of their health, while consultations provide an opportunity to seek appropriate medical guidance.

The initiative also carried a strong message of support for those in need through the provision of free surgery for needy individuals. This aspect of the camp reflected the broader objective of extending healthcare support to people who may require assistance.

Held in Rajpura, Punjab, the Free Health Checkup Camp brought together JP Sewa Trust, Helping Hand Foundation, and medical professionals with a shared focus on community healthcare.

Through initiatives like this, JP Sewa Trust continues to support efforts that make healthcare more accessible and encourage individuals to take a proactive approach towards their well-being. The Rajpura camp was a meaningful step towards extending medical guidance, basic health checks, and support to the community.
